Great news! We’ll return to in-person church services, including Kingdom Kids children’s ministry, at City and at Ryde on
5 December, 10am (Pre-service prayer meeting resumes in-person at 9am at both locations and also on Zoom for City)
(Our service locations can be found here City and Ryde.)
Our youth and young adult ministries have also resumed gathering on Friday nights.
WIC welcomes everyone to in-person Sunday services and gatherings.
As we reopen, we are asking for patience particularly around navigating how we use our space. We also would like to reassure everyone that we understand not all of our community would feel comfortable to return at first, and both City and Ryde services will continue to be live-streamed at 10:00am.
For your safety and those around us, please stay home if :
- You have the mildest of symptoms
- People you live with have symptoms
- You are waiting for COVID test results
- You have been in close contact with a known COVID positive case
When we return to in-person gatherings, we’ll observe NSW Health guidelines, specifically :
1)You will be required to check in using the Service NSW COVID-19 Safe Check-in App. This will help the authority to track and communicate with people when necessary.
2)You will be required to wear a mask inside the building unless eating or drinking.
3)The service will require ‘socially distant’ seating , which means that although you will be able to sit with your household, you will be required to sit apart from other congregants. Density limits recommended by NSW Government is 1 person per 2 sqm indoor.
4)You will be encouraged to maintain physical distancing & personal hygiene (use of hand sanitiser).
Our team of friendly Welcome Ushers will warmly assist and guide your return to our in-person services. We look forward to meeting you soon!
