What is WICare?

WICare, formerly known as Stephen Ministry, is a faith-based ministry in which formally trained volunteers (lay pastoral carers) provide emotional & spiritual support to individuals facing personal crises.

These include grief, illness, divorce, job loss and other life changes.

WICareGivers offer confidential, long-term, one-on-one care – listening, reflecting, and empathising without judgement.

How do I get involved?

We are getting ready to train, equip and commission the next cohort of pastoral carers, and we ask you to pray about whether God is speaking to you about exploring your gifting in this area.
