Next Step Sunday

Growing as committed followers of Jesus is a lifelong journey involving many steps and a number of key decisions. Whether you are a visitor or a long term member of WIC, you are able to take the next step in your discipleship journey by making a key discipleship decision.

Step 1: Salvation

If you are considering making the decision or have made the decision to follow Jesus, you are encouraged to participate our Christian Basic Program. This is six 1.5hrs sessions with an equipped believer to explore the basics of Christian faith.

Step 2: Baptism

Those who have accepted Jesus as Lord will be encouraged to take the next step of Baptism. You can find the baptism form here. Please fill in the form and send it back Ka-Mun.Tham@wesleymission.org.au.

Step 3: Growing Together

Being part of a Life group will help you focus on one or more aspects of spiritual growth, including Bible study, prayer, fellowship, outreach etc. Go to our life group page if you would like to join an existing life group.

Step 4: Serving

God has shaped each one of us uniquely to serve in His kingdom. Our SHAPE tool has videos to help determine the best kingdom serving opportunity for you. If you are interested to serve in church, please fill out our sign up form.

Step 5: Bible Sharing

DBM and “My Friends” Training

Discovery Bible Method (DBM) involves reading a small passage of the Bible with the pre believer and asking simple questions concerning the text.

My Friends training This training provides biblical principles and a practical and natural approach to reaching out to those who don’t yet know Jesus.

Step 6: Mission

We would like to invite you to join us in local and/or
global mission. There are many ways to be involved in mission, including going, sending, praying and supporting missionaries and mission partners.
